What’s the Story About?

Here’s my log-line!

John Hedekira and his friends must track and rescue Cassie and Luke, John’s little sister and brother, before they can be taken and sacrificed to the God of Death by Nirak, the Red Captain.

And it all takes place in the universe of Elithius, within the realms of three worlds: The Golden Lands, the Gray Lands, and the Dark Lands!

  1. Really cool! It has just the right amount of mystery to it. I love the whole, “you must defeat the evil within yourself.”

  2. “My parents always said that there were Evil in these lands.”

I love this. Makes the reader recognize that Evil is a being, and not an action or just simply an basic opposition.

    1. Haha thanks. But i wouldn’t say that, philosophically, “evil” is a being. Evil is a lack of goodness. It’s hard to be a “being” when you’re “empty space in something”, so to speak.
This is more like personification of evil. But it is meant to sound dark and epic. I’m glad you like it 🙂

  3. Lots of secrecy and questions abound. Interesting how he doesn’t give any names…he just keeps it very simple. I would definitely want to read more.

  4. I really enjoyed this! These are the types of books I enjoy. Mystery, secrecy, family, and hardships. I like reading about characters who are struggling and see how they deal with their obstacles. And that unnamed “Him” really has me intrigued, as well as he Evil!

  5. Have you thought of publishing more on here or a short story, etc.? I already read this and liked it, but not sure about buying the book. Not my genre, but I have enjoyed reading. lily

    1. Thanks for the comment, Lily! The only other thing that I’ve really “published” on my blog would be the blog series I’m working on. You can find it by clicking the sidebar button on the left and clicking the one entitled “Soul Bleeder”.
      Thanks!

  6. Really interesting read, love your writing style 🙂 Just a suggestion, you could consider posting maybe just the first one or two chapters here as well, just the prologue wouldn’t be enough to hook most readers!

    1. Thank you very much! I actually won’t be posting any more parts to my blog, but Volume 1 is free as an eBook version. I believe I included a link to where you can download Volume 1 (the “Click here” link).
Thanks for dropping by! I’m glad you enjoyed it 🙂
